This is a remarkably detailed, high-poly and photo-realistic 3D model of an S8 Stock London Subway Train. The S Stock is a fleet of subsurface rolling stock used on the London Underground since 2010. Delivered by Bombardier Transportation in Derby, the S Stock was ordered to replace the A60, A62, C69, C77 and D78 stock. The stock has two types, S7 and S8, serving different lines, with differences in the seating arrangement and number of cars. Both types have air-conditioning and low floors for easier accessibility for people with disabilities, and it's possible for a passenger to walk from one car to the next while the train is moving, unlike older trains on the network. This 3D model was originally created in 3ds Max 2016 and rendered in V-Ray 3.2 for 3ds Max 2014. Materials were configured specifically for V-Ray, and a V-Ray Studio scene is included with the max files. A separate file without the studio setup is also available for easy integration into your scene. The model was created according to blueprints and is accurate to real-world scale. It's placed at the origin (x=0, y=0, z=0) and is fully textured with all materials applied. Colors can be easily modified, and modifiers are left open with a TurboSmooth iteration of 2-3 for easy adjustment of poly count. The model consists of 9,485,974 polys and 6,155,247 verts with a Turbo Smooth iteration of 2-3. Without the Turbo Smooth, it has 2,830,765 polys and 2,969,967 verts. This product meets CheckMate Lite standards.
