London Pride, a striking sculpture created by British artist Frank Dobson, proudly stands on Queen's Walk along London's South Bank. In January 2016, the sculpture earned Grade II listed status. Two elegantly posed nude women form the centerpiece of this powerful work, situated on a slate platform. An inscription, carefully crafted by David Kindersley, sits prominently in front of the piece, reading: "LONDON PRIDE / FRANK DOBSON CBE RA / 1886–1963 / Commissioned for / THE FESTIVAL OF BRITAIN 1951 / GIVEN BY MARY DOBSON 1987 / AND PLACED ON THE SOUTH BANK / Assisted generously by Lynton Property & Revisionary Plc and / The Henry Moore Foundation / ARTS COUNCIL OF GREAT BRITAIN". This remarkable sculpture is part of the "Scan The World" project, a groundbreaking initiative launched by MyMiniFactory. Through this non-profit endeavor, we are building a vast digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for everyone to access at no cost.
