The 3D photo rig design for Lomography Konstruktor cameras is simple and employs only six parts, which can either be 3D printed or injection molded. The lightweight yet sturdy rig allows easy camera access, provides convenient handles and surfaces for carrying, and has a non-slip base to keep the camera stable on surfaces. Additionally, it can be used handheld or with a strap. A unique feature is its adaptability as either a single or dual camera holder for 3D photography. To reduce costs, components were designed symmetrically, requiring only six different molds despite the fully built rig using 11 parts. The design aligns with Lomography Konstruktor's aesthetic featuring hard lines, boxy shapes, and badging. It offers ample space for customization through stickers. While 3D printing is feasible for prototyping, injection molding proves more cost-effective for mass production, albeit with high initial tooling costs.
