Lokelani dropped by our booth at the Big Bang Fair and stepped into our 3D scanning rig, which packs a whopping 96 DSLR cameras that capture an astonishing 1.8 Giga pixels of data for each scan. We teamed up with our friends at CapturingReality.com to process the data - their software is quite capable of analyzing each image, pinpointing unique points on every one, and then mapping those points in 3D space if they appear in multiple images.
