Lok Re 4/4 SBB 1:32 / 45mm (LGB)
thingiverse
The locomotive is scaled accurately, allowing for smooth navigation of curves R1 without issues, albeit shortened by 6 cm in length. Printed with ABS. Individual components are bonded with "ABS glue" (ABS dissolved in acetone). Power provided by a 12 V RB350030-0A101R gear motor spinning at 174 rpm (Conrad order number 227544). The drive axles are supported by Reely 13x6x5 ball bearings (Conrad order number 214485). Since the locomotive with motor and battery is too light, additional lead weights were added to the chassis (weight boxes). This significantly improves ride characteristics. The drive wheels can also be made even more grippy on the tread surfaces by applying a layer of liquid rubber. The drive unit was updated on September 13, 2018. The functionality of the mechanism is greatly improved due to the four-sided axles.
