The RAKO logo features a statue of Ashurnasirpal II, an Assyrian King who founded the New Assyrian Empire and reigned from 883 to 863 BC. The image is derived from a stone slab relief housed in London's British Museum. During his reign, the object held by the king was called "rako," which inspired the brand name. The octagonal tile with the royal figure bears the inscription RAKO above it. This ancient design connects to the lengthy ceramics tradition of Rakovník-based factories producing ceramic products.
