Frustrated by two online designs that did not properly fit, I made my own. The mount is intended to be compatible with GoPro-style mounts, and short 1/4"-20 (approx 7mm deep) and 3/8"-16 approx 9mm deep) heat-set inserts. The inserts enable versatility and compatibility with traditional camera tripods and desk-mounted arms.This has been an iterative process. The next iteration will likely have a tweaked 1/4"-20 cavity to preclude adjacent inner-recess deformation during heated insertion.
