My Harmony Mini IR Blaster (Logitech PN: 993-000191) wasn't working with my TV, the LG LG55UH615A, because its narrow front field of view for the remote control made it hard for the signal to reach. The TV's remote sensor is recessed in a narrow channel under its bezel. After testing, I realized that the IR light needed direct access to the front of the TV and couldn't work if it was bounced off anything far away. So, I built a bracket to hold the IR blaster just below the TV and reflect the signal into the sensor. Now my Harmony Hub works every time without fail. The back of the bracket has wire wrap posts that let you neatly store any excess IR blaster wire. Assembly is easy and should mount securely to your TV with no need for tape. There's a spot to use some thin double-sided tape if needed, though.
