Logitech G920 Magnetic Paddle Shifter (Short Throw)

My custom Logitech G920 Magnetic Paddle Shifter Mod is a game-changer for any racing enthusiast. Installation is a breeze, taking just 5 minutes to complete. Check out my YouTube video tutorial at https://youtu.be/3_P5WuthlzM to see it in action. I used 8x 6mm x 2mm magnets like those available on Amazon.ca (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07QGYQ3SJ/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_nbbrEbYYDWWJQ). They provide the perfect amount of grip for a smooth shifting experience. To secure the magnets, I used 2x pan head machine screws (6-32 x 3/4'') and 2x hex nuts. The design allows for easy installation and provides a solid hold on the steering wheel base. The part is printed with 9x wall lines and a 40% triangle infill, giving it a strong and solid build. I was able to reuse screws from another project, which saved me time and effort. One thing to note is that the magnets can jump between holes, but a quick fix using painters' tape or Tuck Tape solved the problem. No special tools are required for this mod. The design of the paddle shifter is intentional, with a slight angle that allows for a short throw. The cable ties won't be able to secure it properly, so I made sure to tighten the brace on the steering wheel base. Overall, my custom Logitech G920 Magnetic Paddle Shifter Mod is a great addition to any racing setup. Its strong and solid build makes it perfect for frequent use, and its ease of installation makes it a must-have for anyone looking to upgrade their gaming experience.
