Logitech G920 G29 DIY Quick Release - Custom / Aftermarket Wheels

This is still a work in progress. I don't currently have access to a 3D printer, so I haven't been able to verify that these parts function properly. The photos were taken from amstudio's video as a result. If you decide to make this, please let me know about any issues you encounter! I will update this once I've got it tested. This is a DIY set of quick release adaptors for use with a Logitech G920 or G29 wheel. The idea was heavily influenced by amstudio's design, but I modelled this entirely from scratch without ever having access to the original design files. As such, it isn't a remix, but rather a piece of work that draws inspiration. There is also an adaptor for the original wheel included, so you could use this even if you have no aftermarket wheels. This could be helpful if you need to pack the rig away into a smaller space - you can just take the wheel off. As always, feel free to remix or edit. However, commercial use or incompatible licenses aren't allowed. And, like all my designs, this has and will never include any sort of branding or annoying watermarks. # Included There are three separate files included. The one named "base" is what attaches to the Logitech hub. The one marked "Logitech WS" is for using the original wheel with this adaptor. The one marked "70mm WS" should fit any steering wheels with a 6-bolt 70mm connection type. # What you need You will require: - A bike quick release adaptor like this. - A Logitech G920 or G29 racing wheel. - A set of screwdrivers and stuff. I don't know the exact screws off the top of my head, but I'll update this list. - An aftermarket wheel (if you are planning on using it) # Instructions You need to disassemble the device, taking out the wheel itself, then replacing everything. A guide can be found here. Please be aware that this guide is for adding a hub adaptor, and only the first part of the video is relevant to you. You don't need to watch any farther than 1:45. Instructions for mounting the adaptor on the base, and the second piece to the Logitech wheel, or any other wheel can be found here. Good luck, and happy racing!
