I use a corner desk which made using the default non-extended clamps impossible, as it simply wouldn't reach under my desk far enough to actually grip the desk. I printed the source extensions as a hopeful fix which did make it better, however I found that the provided height extensions didn't want to work well with it, so I extended the extensions height and added a more grippy surface over the original flat surface which provides superior grip on thin desks, without the need for the original extension pieces.
