I completely agree with @Turtle3D on this one - those g-keys can be a real nuisance when typing. I've developed a mental map of my keyboard layout over time and the addition of g-keys to the Logitech G613 throws me off big time. It's not just about aesthetics; it's about ergonomics too. When my palm hits those extra keys, it disrupts my flow and makes me lose my rhythm. I was initially drawn to Turtle3D's design for its sleekness and simplicity, but then I realized that his version required desoldering the existing keys. That was a major turn-off for me - not only is it a hassle, but it also voids your warranty. So, I came up with my own solution. My design adds small hooks to the cover that allow it to snap into place without requiring any modifications to the keyboard itself. Yes, this does mean that the cover will protrude an extra 1mm, but for me, that's a small price to pay for not having to sacrifice my warranty or deal with the hassle of desoldering keys.
