Logitech G602 Mouse Battery Cover
thingiverse
This mouse has been in my possession for 18 months, despite traveling extensively for business without any issues. However, things took a turn when my wife borrowed the mouse for 24 hours and unfortunately broke the battery cover. Since this particular design is necessary to access the wireless dongle storage compartment, I seized the opportunity to brush up on Fusion360 and create a new replacement. Versions with and without integrated supports have been provided. Here are the print settings used: Print Settings Printer Brand: SeeMeCNC Printer: Rostock MAX Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.15mm Infill: 40% The design process started with scanning an existing broken battery cover to obtain its exact shape. The scan image was then adjusted to enhance contrast between the cover and the background. I imported this enhanced image into Fusion360, measured the part's edges, and scaled it accordingly before tracing and modeling it in the software. A 0.15mm layer height and 40% infill rate were used when printing the new design with my SeeMeCNC Rostock MAX 3D printer, with and without built-in supports available.
