Logitech G305 Honeycomb Battery Cover with raised surface for larger hands
thingiverse
I love the Logitech G305, but I've always wanted it to be a little larger for FPS gaming. I'm not great with the claw grip, and this hump puts more of my palm into contact with the mouse while I've got one of the mouse buttons clicked. I've included a picture of the gap in a before picture. I made this remix in TinkerCAD by isolating the part of the honeycomb that didn't have any clips below it, and stacking them pancake-style. Not ideal, but that's my skill level in CAD, so here we are. My make of it (also pictured) fits in snugly in PETG, and the ABS version I tried was a smidge too small. It may need to be scaled by 1 or 2 percent, depending on your tolerances. Didn't try PLA. Finally, weight. At 40% infill, it's a 7g difference between the OEM Cover and the mod. It's noticeable, but not by much. Due to the honeycomb design, there's not a ton of infill in the first place (if any). Many thanks to the creators of the previous versions, and to u/Forty_0ne from Reddit for providing a high-res scan that kicked off the whole process.
