Logitech G29/G920 Wheel Quickmount (v2, shortneck)
thingiverse
This is an improved design from the previous version, condensed by 30% to eliminate flexibility issues inherent in the prior iteration. To create new wheels and electronics for those, I developed a quickmount kit for the Logitech G29/G920 (the G27 might also work). This requires just a few connectors and three standard self-tapping screws to get it working. Below are all the connectors that I used to build this on my own G29. The package contains a base side adapter, a plug holder, an attaching nut, and a wheel hub for the stock wheel. Additional adapters included are: * 6x60mm flat faced for custom applications * 6x70mm flat faced for some car wheels (Sparco-style) * Plugs used on Logitech ends (7-pin male and female needed): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PH-2-0mm-Connector-Sets-2-16-Pin-Housing-Header-Crimps-JST-PH-Style/232383796538?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144 * Plugs used and designed for on quickmount (7 or 8-pin, 8-pin enables USB data-passthrough when ground is connected through the outer shell of the connector, male & female): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-4-5-6-7-8-Pin-Male-or-Female-Mini-DIN-Plug-Socket-Connector-Adapter-W-Handle/323656244779?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144 Note: Using the G29 without a wheel is possible, but Windows tends to become unstable for some reason. One possible resolution is to edit the configuration on Logitech Gaming Software to remove all mappings from wheel buttons and shifter paddles. I spent a lot of time designing, test printing, and testing driving this, so if you like it, throw in some coffee money through my profile page tipping...
