Logitech G29/G920 easy magnetic paddle shifter

I didn't want to replace the metal paddles yet still have a satisfying magnetic shifter, so I made this modification. You can reverse the mod anytime without losing your warranty. To make this work, you'll need cheap 4mm diameter neodym magnets (available at https://www.aliexpress.com/item/200-100pcs-Bulk-Small-Round-NdFeB-Neodymium-Disc-Magnets-Dia-4mm-x-1mm-N35-Super-Powerful/32858798559.html). Stack as many as you need to have at least one standing above the print, so that the metal paddle only touches the magnet when shifting. Watch the installation video here: https://youtu.be/-NTqRI3xnh8. Use some contact glue or epoxy to keep the magnets inside the print. If you want more resistance, just stack more magnets or add some magnets on the backside of the paddle but right opposite of the other magnets. If you're interested in changing the whole wheel to the one I use in the photos, check out https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3421135. I also sell the finished shifter with magnets here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/MVHStudios. Update: I now use bigger magnets and have removed the clips as some people had tolerance issues on their wheels. The new file is called Paddel Shifter No Clips 10x3.
