Logitech G29/G920 Driving Force Shifter Extension (+15mm)
thingiverse
Human: Requires STL files and one 25-30mm machine screw compatible with the shifter shaft threads, matching a nut to the original screw then finding a longer screw that matches it at the hardware store. Use a fingernail near the leather seam to carefully lift the plastic knob cap without damaging it. Drill out hole in the insert for clearance of the new screw. The insert fits inside the shift knob to support the new screw and the 8mm spacer goes on the shifter shaft. My print came out slightly oversized after changing printer firmware, so I sanded the 8mm spacer smooth and plan to paint it black to match. This modification adds about 15mm to the height of the shift knob and gives it a more substantial feel, much like a Mazda MX-5 Miata shifter.
