I was inspired by 3xcelsi0r's innovative NRG wallmount and decided to create an adapter to attach my daily driver's wheel to my G27 Base. To make it work, I removed the six bolts from the stock G27 wheel and disconnected the JST plugs for the buttons on the wheel. With that out of the way, mounting the adapter onto the base was a straightforward process. The adapter features recesses for the screws and slots on the back to accommodate the plastic posts that fit snugly into the stock metal wheel. My G27 Base doesn't obstruct my shift lights, but the Female portion of the NRG Quick Release does cast a shadow over them.
