This is a mod for the Logitech G25 - G27 - G29 - G920 - G923 Steering Wheel. I saw that the shift paddle of the peripheral are a lot "spongy", so I saw that some professional steering wheel have magnetic shifters, so I modeled this mod in order to have the same feeling. I know that there are a lot of models like this on the web, but after trying few of them I saw that everyone has the same problem: the magnets were not at the same level as the metal paddle, so the force applied by the magnets was not at its full potential. I decided to model this adjustable, so it can be adjusted perfectly on the metal paddle, but also with this you can decrease the travel from the lever and the switch. This is essential if you want to be able to change shift faster in a lot of racing games. To use this model you will need additional components: - 4x 8x2 neodimium magnets, these will go inside of the little piece called "MagneticPaddle.stl", 2 magnets in each one; - 2x M4 bolts; - 2x M4 nuts, that will go inside of the bottom piece. I modeled it so you won't need any supports printing it. Just use the settings you like and you use with your printer, it will be fine! You need to print 2 "MagneticPaddle", and 1 of "Piece1" and "Piece2". The installation of the mod is easy and fast. You just need to insert 2 magnets in each MagneticPaddle piece. They have a tight fit, you can use some clamps to help you put them in. Also you can use a bit of superglue for extra strenght. If you have smaller magnets, just make sure that the external face of the magnet is not inside the hole, but just a little bit out. Insert the 2 nuts into the bottom piece. This piece has a tight fit too, but you can use a bit of superglue like with the magnet for extra strenght, but you might not need it because it will be held in place by the screws. Take the top piece, the one that has a little cut-out near the hole for the screws, and put the screws in. Then take the two little pieces with the magnets, and insert the screw inside of the holes in these. You can now put this pieces on the steering wheel, the magnets will hold them on the metal paddle, so you don't need another hand to hold them. Finally take the bottom piece with the nuts in it, and screw the screws in this to hold everything in place. Don't tight the screws now, you will do it later after adjusting the magnets. On the top piece there is a little cut-out, you can use a little screwdriver in here so you can adjust it as you like. I suggest you putting the metal paddle at the travel from the switch that you like, I have it like 1mm from the switch, and then you tight the screw on that side. Repeat the process on the other side for the other shifter. When you're done, just tight both of the screws just a bit more so it won't become loose overtime. I modeled and printed this model almost 1 year ago, I never had a problem and it is like the first day I put it on. So I think that you will not have any problems using it!
