Logitech G1008 Mod (G703 shell + G305 PCB)
thingiverse
Turn your Logitech G305 into the best ergo mouse in history! (which is G703/G603 imo) I made this because the G305 is still the cheapest good wireless gaming mouse in my country. HUGE credit to Rollinsloth's RS4 design; https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4754644 I essentially used his internal design as it has a really good click feel imo, and designed a shell around it. I created the main click shape from scratch as to accommodate G305's low scroll wheel height while keeping the click height (where your finger lies) roughly where it would be in the real G703. The rest of the body are straight up copied from Logitech's original shape. I made sure to keep Rollingsloth's clever magnetic cover for easy battery swap and even made it exchangeable with his RS703 shape which had a lower and smoother back hump. I haven't weighed in the finished mouse as I don't have a scale but feel free to do so if you made this. I am a novice 3D printer and my printer isn't tuned to its best. So I resorted to model the print with slightly more material and sanding the print to tune the click feel instead of modelling it precisely. I may make a documentation as to where you should consider sanding if you want to make one. As of right now, I'll only include RollingSloth's original guide. If you want to test out different mouse shapes including G703 and RS703, here's a good one; https://www.printables.com/model/113133-mouse-shape-tester-megapack
