Logitech Extreme 3d pro simulation handbrake mod
thingiverse
This is a custom part that disables your Logitech 3D Joystick's pushback motion, allowing it to function only as a handbrake. The twisting motion remains fully functional. I use this setup for handbraking in sim games and in iRacing, where the joystick controls my black box. The twisting motion is used for my sprint car wing, while other buttons on the joystick control split times, pit limiter, brake bias, and numerous other settings. To install, you must disassemble the controller and place this part atop the white square component. It should click into position easily. Reassembling the lid requires that it sit atop this piece, securing it in place, so be sure to tighten each screw separately. If requested, I can create a tutorial video to aid with installation. This setup works flawlessly for me and is indispensable in rallyX. When calibrating the handbrake, pull it slightly toward you before pressing "calibrate" to avoid activating the dead zone when returning to neutral position.
