Logitech Extreme 3D Pro compact mount (40x40)
thingiverse
A compact mount for the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. Makes it possible to mount on a 40x40 mm aluminium profile, or wood for that matter. It omits the six buttons and the throttle on the base. Currently a bit stiff/friction if I roll right from centered position. If not completely centered it is no issue, so it is rarely noticed. I noticed some issues when assembling mine. I however didn't want to go through another print so I just drilled and filed some. I have implemented the necessary changes so you don't have to, but I haven't verified them physically. Source files for FreeCAD are also included for potential remixes. Additional material required: 40x40 mm aluminium or wood profile 2 x M6 nut 1 x M6 washer 1 x M6x50 screw (spring guide) 1 x M6x60 screw (lid) Joystick extension cord (stick to circuit board) Suitable spring (around 13 mm outer diameter, 1,4 mm thick, longer than 50 mm and cut to suitable length with a wire cutter) Suggested material for mounting to post: 4 x M8x10 screw 4 x M8 T-nut for aluminium profile Tools required: Spanner or socket wrench with extension for M6 screw/nut Situational tools: Soldering iron Spanner or socket wrench with extension for M8 screw/nut Disclaimer: This modification requires non-reversible modification of your joystick. All warranties and similar will be void. I will not be held responsible in any way for the damage caused by the modification or its function.
