I'm designing a custom webcam mount for my Prusa Lack enclosure using the Logitech C920 camera. To do this, I need to completely disassemble the webcam until I can access and remove the silver hinge rails from their stock base. These rails are press-fit into nylon pegs that secure them in place on either side of the webcam mount. Once I've removed the hinge rails, I can reassemble the webcam for use with my custom enclosure. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos to show you the disassembled camera. However, a helpful video tutorial is available online that demonstrates how to remove the base from your Logitech C920 webcam.
