Logitech C920 lightweight replacement tripod mount

<p>This is a mount with standard 1/4-20 tripod screw hole to replace the bulky/heavy mounting base on the Logitech C920 webcam.</p> <p>There are two versions of the mount: a low profile version which sits approximately flush with the bottom of the camera and has a 6mm depth tripod screw hole at the back of the mount. And a high profile version which adds an additional 15mm of height to the base and has a 10mm depth tripod screw hole in the center of the base.</p> <p>To install, you will need to remove the front cover of the webcam (8 screws), and remove the stock base (4 screws).</p> <p>The first screws are located underneath the two rubber pads on the bottom of the camera case. Once these are removed, pop out the two side pieces (mic covers) by inserting a poking tool into the small slot, and pry open the side of the mic cover to pop it off. You can then access the 4 screws which hold the transparent plastic cover. Remove these and lift off the cover. Then you can remove the 4 screws that hold the stock base which will then slide out.</p> <p>Insert the mount through the bottom of the camera case, and then you will need to align the middle (smallest) of the three holes on the mounting bracket with the small peg that clips the mount in to place.
