Logitech C920 Camera Robot Mount
thingiverse
I designed a mounting bracket specifically for attaching a Logitech C920 Webcam to a robot. The mount securely holds the camera in place at a fixed angle, utilizing two M3 bolts. To aid modification, source files are included, enabling users to tailor the mount to meet their needs. To utilize this mount effectively: 1. Print out the bracket design. 2. Acquire a Logitech C920 Webcam and remove its two lower pads. 3. Locate the rubber pads' sticker underneath; pry it off using a gentle force to expose the screws beneath. 4. Remove the four bottom-mounted screws. 5. Employ a flat-head screwdriver to pry away the microphone covers from the front. 6. Unfasten the four additional screws securing the front lens-cover in place. 7. Once you've removed the front cover, eliminate the existing adjustable tri-pod mount by removing its four metal screws from the webcam body. 8. Insert the 3D printed mounting piece and fasten it in place instead of the original mount. 9. Reconstruct the webcam according to your needs. 10. Finally, utilize two M3 bolts to attach your camera securely to your robot for seamless operation.
