Here's a low-profile webcam mount that screws directly into an Ikea Lack enclosure or any other square beam using an M3 bolt and nut to attach the webcam to the mount. The original webcam foot can easily be removed by unscrewing the small rubber "stops" at the hinge and pushing out the pin with a small screwdriver, nail, etc. To create more resistance between the two parts and prevent unwanted movement of the webcam holder, apply a few wraps of teflon or electrical tape around the pin to fit snugly in the hole. A design for a cable guide is also included for extra neatness. This cable guide can be attached with glue or double-sided tape.
