Logitech C270 Webcam Mount for VORON, 2020 Extrusion
thingiverse
A sturdy, high-quality Logitech C270 webcam mount for the MZBot VORON is available, also compatible with any 2020 extrusions featuring 6mm slot widths. The C270 is widely used on Amazon and directly compatible with OctoPrint. Please follow the print guidelines below! Print Settings Printer: MZBot VORON Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 100% Notes: Print slowly (30mm/s) to capture mechanical mounting features! Use a 0.4mm nozzle, 2 perimeters, and 2 layers top/bottom for best results. Be mindful of support material orientation on the clips. Post-Printing Installation 1. Remove supports from mid-sections of the 2020 clip and webcam mount point. 2. Remove the C270's stock mount by peeling away two rubber covers on opposite sides of the hinge with a small screwdriver. Remove the screw and push out the exposed pin. 3. Reassemble the C270 onto the VORON mount using the same pin and screw that you just removed. Only one orientation is correct; mind the keying features. It's an intentionally snug fit. 4. Seat the 2020 clip on the bottom face of the aluminum extrusion. 5. Pull the gantry upward with some force. You should achieve a solid "click" and a firm hold. 6. Slide the gantry to the desired horizontal position. A) If needed, adjust the webcam focus to the hotend positioned in the middle of the XY plane. Removal 1. Using two #2 flat screwdrivers, simultaneously pry upward on the top clips until the gantry pops downward. 2. Pull down on the gantry gently until the clips are free.
