Logitech C270 Tripod Mount
thingiverse
A simple tripod mount for the Logitech C270 webcam. With so many churches needing to stream services because of COVID-19 lockdowns and a shortage of webcams, this project aims to help someone deploy their old C270 - a decent camera that's inexpensive and relatively easy to obtain. The original, rather silly mount needs to be removed from the C270. A pin runs through the hinge at the back, covered by tiny rubber pads on both ends. Remove these pads with a pin or small knife, unscrew the locking screw at one end, and then push the pin out. You might be able to reuse this pin to attach the camera to this mount - I used an M3x30 screw instead, which worked perfectly. The hole in the base should fit the 1/4" thread of the tripod snugly - no nut is needed. Hopefully, you can just use the STL file provided, but the OpenSCAD source code is available for your reference as well.
