Logitech C270 tripod
pinshape
Just built a portable Logitech C270 webcam tripod using two items and added a sturdy base to it. The base requires three walls, support and bridge enabled during the printing process. To add weight and stability to the base, fill the empty space with some metal; I used lead for this purpose. For extra stability on the bottom, place three rubber pads. An M3x8 screw is used for the bottom of the tripod. The C270 hinge is an exact replica of the original one, so you can use the same axis, screw and cover rings as before. Use M3x20 screws for the forks. I printed it in ABS plastic using my Prusa i3 Plus 3D printer. My print settings were as follows: No rafts, supports enabled, a resolution of 200 microns and an infill percentage of 20%. You can try printing without bridge support if you prefer; however, I used it for better results and slightly longer printing time. The model was sliced with Slic3r software.
