Mount your Logitech C270 webcam for a Prusa i3 Mk3 printer using this easy-to-follow guide. Perfect for monitoring prints and capturing time-lapses. To begin, you'll need to remove the original webcam base. This can be done by taking off the foam end caps, revealing a screw. Simply unscrew it and push out the pin. Next, attach the mount to the X-axis motor using an M3x18mm screw from your Prusa i3 Mk3 spare parts kit. Then, secure the webcam to the mount with an M3x25mm screw. Both screws are included in the kit if you purchased a complete setup. The mount features a channel for running the webcam wire under the X-axis motor for a clean and organized look. You can also thread the wire through the X-axis motor's sleeve into the electronics case. If your camera becomes out of focus, simply remove the front cover and adjust the lens to bring it back into sharp focus. This mount should work with Prusa i3 Mk2 printers as well, although I haven't had a chance to test it on that model.
