<p>Hello all.</p><p>This is a multi-part solution for mounting a Logitech C270 webcam to a 2020 aluminum extrusion.<i><strong> I designed it to be on the top extrusion of an Ender3 Max looking down at the build plate. </strong>But will mount to any extrusion.</i></p><p>*<i><strong>added webcam_mounting_arm v3</strong></i><br><i><strong>v3 features two more cable tie points, and a third mounting point to the T-Nut slot.</strong></i></p><p><i><strong>*added webcam_tnut_slot v2</strong></i><br><i><strong>v2 features an extra 3rd hole for mounting the webcam_mounting_arm v3</strong></i></p><p><i>*added webcam_mounting_arm v2</i><br><i>v2 features lightening, a cable-tie spot, and shorter in length.</i><br><br><i>*added webcam_main_body v2</i><br><i>v2 features a cutout slot to make it easier to insert/remove webcam cable.</i></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>You will need:</strong></p><p><strong>Bold = V3 Webcam_Mounting_Arm</strong></p><ol><li>(10x)<strong>(11x)</strong> m3x5x4 - Brass heatset inserts. <i>[https://dfh.fm/collections/fasteners/products/threaded-heat-insert-nut]</i></li><li>The printed parts</li><li>(6x)<strong>(7x)</strong> m3x10 screws</li><li>(4x) m3x6 screws</li><li>(2x) m4x12 screws</li><li>(2x) m4 tnuts</li></ol><p><strong>Instructions</strong></p><ol><li>Insert (8x) m3x5x4 heatset inserts into the main_body</li><li>Insert (2x)(<strong>3x)</strong> m3x5x4 heatset inserts into the back of the webcam_mounting_arm</li><li>Insert your Logitech C270 webcam, cord first, into the main body.</li><li>Attach webcam_main_body_front with (4x) m3x10 screws</li><li>Attach webcam_mounting_arm to the back of the main body using (4x) m3x6 screws</li><li>Attach webcam_mounting_arm_tnut_slot to the rear of the mounting arm using (2x)<strong>(3x)</strong> m3x10 screws</li><li>Attach the entire unit to your 2020 aluminum extrusion using (2x) m4x12 screws attached to t-nuts.</li></ol><p>Be mindful of your webcam wire. I zip-tied mine down to keep it out of the way of the printing volume.</p><p><br><br>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
