Logitech C270 focus adapter

Logitech C270 focus adapter

thingiverse

This is basically a redesign of some of the Logitech C270 focus adapters that I have seen on Thingiverse. I did these 3 pieces from scratch but they are based closely on some other previous designs. I wanted a focus adapter that was a little easier to print. I decided to modify the Logitech C270 focus ring by taking off 3 of the nubs on the focus ring. That allowed me to print the adapter with bigger slots so it was easier for me to print. I actually couldn't even print one that I had downloaded because I print with a .4 nozzle and some of the slots that went around the focus ring were too small for me to be able to print. You will need TWO M3x8mm hex head screws for the cover. I printed these in PETG with minimal supports for the 2 screw holes on the main cover. If you don't know, you can pop off the front cover of the Logitech C270 and then there are 3 TINY screws that you take out to remove the second piece to get to the focus ring. If you look closely there is a small amount of glue holding the focus ring in place. You will need to take something sharp like an Exacto knife and break loose the glue so that the focus ring can be turned. Then you can take it off to use a Dremel for removing the 3 nubs, as I have done (shown in the photos). EDIT: I ended up printing the focus wheel in BLACK for some contrast. EDIT 2: I added a photo of the Logitech C270 webcam mount that I designed and use on my Sovol SV01 3D printer. It could be mounted on any 2020 extrusion. That mount can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4572973
