Logitech C270 Camera Magnetic Mount (IKEA PLATSA) Screwless (pin mount)

<p>Remix of the original to use plastic pin mounts in place of screws and make the base plate shorter so it only covers 2 holes in the Ikea Plasta enclosure. </p><p>This design also uses rectangular magnets, with an additional overlapping frame around the pivot plate bracket to help the camera stay square/level. </p><h4>Printing</h4><ul><li>Enclosure base mount (with pin mounts):<ul><li>Material: I used Prusament Vanilla White PLA, but should also work well in PETG.</li><li>Print Settings (PrusaSlicer): 0.20mm Quality, 15% infill</li><li>Supports: None</li><li>Print Settings:<ul><li>Vertical shells → Permimeters: 4 (to make pins solid)</li><li>Quality → Detect thin walls</li></ul></li></ul></li><li>Camera pivot plate:<ul><li>Material: I used Prusament Vanilla White PLA, but should also work well in PETG.</li><li>Print Settings (PrusaSlicer): 0.20mm Quality, 15% infill</li><li>Supports: None</li><li>Print Settings:<ul><li>Quality → Detect bridging perimeters</li></ul></li></ul></li><li>Logitech C270 webcam bracket:<ul><li>Material: I used Prusament Vanilla White PLA, but should also work well in PETG.</li><li>Print Settings (PrusaSlicer): 0.20mm Quality, 15% infill</li><li>Supports: Everywhere as I couldn't find a good way to place this on the bed)</li></ul></li></ul><h4>Hardware</h4><ul><li><a href="https://amzn.to/2WhSHe6">Logitech C270</a> 720p Webcam</li><li>4 of <a href="https://amzn.to/3y6RWBx">20x6x1.5mm thick Neodymium magents</a><ul><li>Enclosure base mount, magnets are installed from the rear and kept in place by a small lip around the opening.</li><li>Camera pivot plate, magnets are installed in two pockets on either side of the mount.</li></ul></li><li>M3 20mm bolt and nut to secure webcam bracket to pivot base plate</li><li>M3 30mm bolt and nut to replace original webcam base with the new mount.<ul><li>To remove C270 original bracket, remove sticky rubber plugs and push the plastic securing pin out.</li></ul></li></ul>
