Logik Tumble Dryer Button Repair
thingiverse
The power and start buttons on my Logik LVD7W15 tumble dryer both started not working. There is a bendy plastic piece that had failed, meaning the button didn't actually push onto the circuit board. So I knocked up this replacement which is designed to slot straight in! To fix the dryer... 1) Unplug it 2) Remove the top cover by undoing the two screws at the back and sliding the top free 3) Unclip the circuit board/button assembly from the front 4) Unclip the circuit board from the button assembly 5) For each button there is a hole with a thin plastic strip in. For the broken ones this needs to be cut away leaving a clean edge an empty rectangle 6) Print and push the new button into that hole so the bendy bit is facing toward the circuit board 7) Re-assembly is the reverse of the above Voila! Button is working again! Note: This worked on my dryer for my power and start buttons. Check before making any modiications to yours.
