This is a basic model of a log cabin designed specifically for use in your model railroad layout. To achieve optimal results when printing, construction and detail have been simplified accordingly. You will need to print multiple doors and windows as required. Basic assembly is straightforward and uncomplicated. Once finished, glue windows and doors into place before stacking and gluing base, walls, and roof together to complete the model. An STL file of walls with windows on base is included for those who prefer this approach. All provided STLs are scaled to 1:87 (HO scale), but you can adjust parts in your slicer to accommodate other scales as follows: For HO Scale (1:87), use parts as supplied. For N Scale (1:160), scale everything to 54%. For Z Scale (1:220), scale everything to 40%. For 0 Scale, Lionel (1:48), scale everything to 181%. You can calculate the scaling percentage for any other scale by dividing 87 by your target scale. For example, if you need a scale of 1:32, divide 87 by 32 to get 2.7%.
