This virtual replica of an A-Frame cabin originated from an actual model constructed by hand in 1987, featuring walls comprised of dowels. Initially designed on SketchUp 8, the 3D model was converted into various formats for versatility. Native file format is .skp while 3ds Max scenes use the version compatible with 2016 and were rendered using Vray 3.00 software. To preserve resources, engineered lumber makes up most of the cabin's structure, including its log-inspired exterior design. The design spans just two bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms but could potentially accommodate an extension with an additional master bedroom on the left side if desired. Originally created without such an addition, this virtual recreation offers an updated interpretation for present needs. Constructed in a time when spacious living wasn't prioritized, it reflects how living situations have changed over time, shifting towards desiring more extensive space.
