Lofts2

Lofts2

cults3d

This part leverages the same fundamental geometry definition as Lofts1 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3132672), but with a pentagon taking center stage instead of a square, and 5 Loft shapes joining forces to form a polar array. A significant amount of filament is required for this part due to its intricate design featuring multiple curved surfaces - a total of 25 in fact, resulting from the intersection of 5 x 5 elements. To minimize material waste, it's advisable to initiate printing with an entire reel or nearly a full reel of filament at your disposal. This part has successfully printed out in an impressive 31 and one-third hours under optimal settings, including a print speed of 80 mm/sec and a meticulously maintained layer height of 0.200 mm.
