After fitting my new Loft hatch from Jupiter Blue, I found it was a stretch to open and downright impossible for my partner to open. I took matters into my own hands and created an attachment that connects directly to the 12mm aluminium box section of the pole for the loft ladder. This clever tool will work seamlessly with any loft hatch featuring a twist-to-unlock catch, as long as its groove is 4mm or less in width and the circular twistable section measures 29mm or more in diameter.
