Locust 6"
thingiverse
The Locust 6" is currently untested but holds great promise as a lightweight and rugged quadcopter, ideal for racing enthusiasts. Weighing only 71g with no pod or necessary hardware, this innovative design prioritizes affordability, durability, and compatibility. Featuring a compact size of approximately 230mm from motor to motor, the Locust 6 utilizes an outer 40mm hole spacing that makes it compatible with a wide range of Shendrones pods. I am excited to pair my Loc6 with Thingiverse user joecool92's remix of the Shendrones Zoompod, which can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2320731. With the Zoompod attached, the total weight increases to 97g.
