For those that follow, you will be glad to know that I have made this without telling the full build story, as I did with the last build.

Hopefully I have learned from my last experience/struggle, (see "S160 Loco"), and there will be fewer issues with this one.

It is designed to be pushed along by a carriage with a powered chassis, because there was no available powered chassis that suited the wheel set up of this magnificent loco that I could find.

I have uploaded screenshots of the model and two for instruction.

I have used the same device as I did with the S160 so that the wheels will spin freely and adjust to corners. This involves a bushing made from 4mm plastic tubing, usually meant for drain pipes and the like, cut into 4mm lengths and split with a removal of a 0.5mm slice. I have included a screen shot showing the wheel/axle assembly using this solution. The other larger drive wheels will need this treatment. The reasons being, the resin does not freely glide against itself or the Peco wheels, a means of holding the axles in place was needed, and this system allows the wheels to drift a little in their housings which is necessary when a long line of wheels go round corners if they are not on bogies.

There may be some embellishments to follow, but I will make them new add-on STLs to avoid annoying people with changes.

Alin.

I hope you enjoy.

Print instructions

Designed to print on Elegoo Mars SLA 3D printer.
