Locomotive EA 060 Electroputere, Craiova

The electric locomotive 060-EA, made by Electroputere in Craiova, Romania, was the lead player in Romania's electrification project, spearheaded by Romanian Railways. I designed this model as a dedicated railroad enthusiast. The replica was created on an enormous scale (1:25) to allow for printing of intricate details using 3D technology. Measuring 990mm in length, it approximates one meter in total. While the replica is not entirely accurate in terms of size, I lacked access to precise measurements and relied on sketches found online. This extensive project remains ongoing due to its complexity and time-consuming nature. It also requires substantial filament for printing samples and final components, with all costs borne by me. I'd like to share this endeavor, which has consumed a considerable amount of my time over the years, to gather your thoughts and opinions on the locomotive and large-scale replicas.
