Locomotive. A script exists to transform tris into quads, exclusively for this model. However, it also works with any other model as a gift. A script is available to re-topologize the model using instant meshes bridge and instant meshes, run the script. Instant Meshes Bridge provides a seamless connection between 3ds max and instant meshes without leaving the max interface. It exports, remeshes, and imports the remeshed object back based on parameters in the dialog. Installation: The script can be executed from any location (Maxscript -> Run Script…). To add it to the toolbar, menu, or quadmenu, create a macroscript using Macroscript Creator. At first run, the script will ask for the location of your instant meshes executable – this occurs only once, unless you reinstall max or remove the executable from the path.
