Toy trains, also known as toy railroads, replicate real-life railroad trains on a miniature scale. Typically, they feature a locomotive accompanied by several cars that can move along rails, although this is not an essential requirement for these toys. The locomotive may be powered either mechanically with batteries or through manual winding, and in common parlance, toy trains are often referred to as Steam Engines.
