<h2>Securing Eberspacher D4Wx and D5Wx Internal ECU Connector Locking Tabs</h2> If an Eberspacher parking heater unit needs to be disassembled, it's likely that the locking tabs on the internal ECU connector have cracked. This makes it impossible to ensure the connector stays safely in place when connected. The good news is that a new connector can be installed, but this comes with a hefty price tag and requires a special tool to release the contact pins. This innovative 3D print offers a practical solution to replace just the locking tabs on the connector without breaking the bank or requiring specialized equipment. I successfully repaired my Saab 9-3 parking heater's ECU connector using this 3D print. <h2>Step-by-Step Instructions:</h2> * Print the attached eber.stl file twice, as two halves are required to complete the repair * Carefully cut away any remaining fragments of the original locking tabs using a hobby knife * Install the printed halves around the connector (refer to the attached image) and "weld" the joints together using acetone
