Locking Shaft Collar VEX
pinshape
This is a side clamping collar designed for secure fitment. Use the tiniest standard size screw available. I was frustrated with metal collars that would strip, stick, or go missing due to set screws. This issue commonly occurs when working with students in the 8th grade level. The collar can be placed between the 393 motor and support structure. When using the smallest screw, it ensures proper clearance for smooth rotation. Make sure it is fully seated to prevent jamming. Enjoy. For optimal results, use high-quality .30 mm 2 shells with a 10% fill rate.
