Locking Hinge

The design offers great functionality for products requiring locked intervals. With its compression spring (either 3D printed or inserted), the hinge remains locked at all times. Pressing the top of the axle releases the hexagonal key from its negative position, enabling free rotation until the spring pushes it back into another orientation. Additionally, you can lock the hinge in a freely rotating state by twisting the bottom 90 degrees when engaged.
