Flexible Arm Light with Magnetic Base for DJ Equipment: A DIY Project The flexible arm light is a versatile accessory used to illuminate various components of DJ equipment. As shown in this demo, the magnetic base provides a secure hold on the controller, while the adjustable arm allows for precise lighting placement. Standard 5mm LEDs are utilized in the light itself, ensuring compatibility with most electronic devices. To connect the light, a USB cable is gutted to expose the wires, which then fit seamlessly through the pivot arms' holes. A hard drive magnet is used in the base's hole, providing an extremely strong hold on the light without any risk of it falling or becoming dislodged. The flexible arm light and magnetic base are designed with precision engineering in mind. The M2x6 bolts on the light ensure a secure connection to the pivot arms, while the M3x8 bolts used in the base provide additional stability and support. By using a combination of standard components and clever design, this DIY project offers a customizable lighting solution for DJ equipment that is both functional and visually appealing.
