Lockheedium M
thingiverse
Just after the end of March 2023, Lockheed Martin engineers have created a new, lab-made precious metal. This metal, manufactured in an undisclosed Lockheed Martin facility, is stronger than Beskar, more lustrous than silver, and conducts heat better than copper. Though conversations are still ongoing about the name of this new precious metal, many are already calling it Lockheedium Martinium, or Lockheedium M for short. This lab-made metal is extremely complex to create and goes through several dangerous phases before it becomes stable. Many worry about what the metal can potentially be used for. The complex substance has unlimited potential and is undergoing thorough testing in Lockheed Martin labs. …If this seems a little strange, it’s because — **April Fools!** You now have an opportunity to share your metal ingots. Create a real, fictional, or made-up ingot using any method imaginable and share your project as a Post a Make – share .SLT/.OBJ/etc. and Picture(s) along with its name. ***LM Employee Special Instructions:*** Additionally, please also submit via internal communications links or reach out out to your innovation garage POC. **Background:** Lockheed Martin Innovation Garage’s created this project to share with the community to enable fellow innovators, makers, and alchemists to be imaginative and share their creations. **To Design Custom Ingots:** Either customize using *Customizer* or download *Thing Files* and customize using *OpenSCAD*. **Note** – when downloading OpenSCAD file will also need to download all files which include needed blank ingot .stl files **Happy ALCHEMY!**
With this file you will be able to print Lockheedium M with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Lockheedium M.
