Lockheed U-2B/C Spyplane: A Top-Secret Asset for Global Surveillance The ultra-high altitude reconnaissance aircraft, operated by Central Intelligence Agency and flown by USAF, RAF, and Taiwan Air Force personnel, played a crucial role in Cold War espionage. These pioneering models, the first batch of U-2s, conducted historic missions over USSR, Cuba, Suez Channel, China (piloted by Taiwanese aviators), and other strategic locations. The U-2B and U-2C variants, considered the most representative models, were involved in some of the most notable operations. Notably, reports suggest that Captain Gary Powers was flying a U-2C when he was shot down. Scale Models: 1:100; Printing Test at 1:300 with 0.2mm Nozzle (Sliceable with 0.4mm Nozzle and 1:300 Scale) The printed models were created using an Ender3, as seen in the image taken from PrusaSlicer 2.0. To preserve intricate details, I opted for a two-part design, which allowed me to keep most of the tail and nose features intact. With some sanding and careful gluing, the joint becomes nearly invisible once painted. Best regards, Erik
