Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird simplified cnc/laser

The SR-71, known as Blackbird, holds the record for being the fastest non-rocket-powered plane on earth. Despite a total of 32 planes built, none encountered enemy contact during their lifespan. Unfortunately, 12 of these incredible aircraft met their demise. My custom build was crafted using a desktop CNC machine from Stepcraft, cutting through 6 mm beech plywood with precision and accuracy. The spiral-toothed 1.2 mm flute left an impressive finish on the wood. After gluing the pieces together and sanding them down, the result is a fantastic toy suitable for boys of all ages. For those interested in creating smaller versions of this model, a laser cutter could be an excellent alternative tool to consider.
